Convention 1989 (13 minutes)
Tribute acts form a large
part of this coverage of the UK Convention when it
went to Preston. Way Out West was spotlighted and
the Sausage Song made its convention début.
The lookalike parade was outstanding.
UK
Convention 1987 (14 minutes)
When the UK Convention
walloped Glasgow for the DeFINitive Convention,
lookalikes, games and music made a perfect mix.
There was even a live band with some Laurel and
Hardy tunes. Included here are comments from many
of the attendees. Several locations visited were
significant in Stan Laurel's young days in
Glasgow.
UK
Convention 1983 (4 minutes)
At the UK Convention in
Liverpool, Sons had an interview with a visitor
from the USA, a trip on the Mersey and
entertainment from the World's Worst Impressionist
(his own description!). A Stan and Ollie sketch
completes the remarkable lineup.
